Source sells to distributors and retailers throughout the US with a portfolio that includes more than 30 brands of specialty and natural foods with the primary focus on key brands in important categories.

Remote (must reside in Western US)
Purpose:
The goal of a Source Atlantique (SA) Regional Sales Director is to manage the SA brands and business and grow sales volume in their defined territory. The Western Regional Sales Director is responsible for managing sales brokers, distributors, and conventional and natural retailers in the following territories:
- Northern California
- Southern California
- Pacific Northwest
- Rocky Mountain and Intermountain Region
Essential Job Functions:
· Must obtain a thorough knowledge of SA brands including key selling points and points of difference for all accounts in the territory.
· Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
· Grow sales volume in Western US by continually looking for new sales opportunities and presenting new items to distributors and retailers.
· Must prepare for category reviews: knowledge of the current set, brands and items in the set, price points and IRI sales data for Source brands and competition.
· Remain current on sales for all major accounts in territory to include monthly reviews of the sales managers reports, distributor retailer reports, and IRI data.
· Manage broker relationships and various business operations to ensure brands are being properly represented by brokers.
· Maintain direct relationships and communications with buyers, distributor account executives, and essential staff.
· Represent the company at various trade shows and/or business meetings to promote the company.
· Prepare presentations, participate in seminars, and trade shows.
· Create and communicate sales goals and ensure leadership is informed on the progress of those goals.
· Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors and colleagues
Job Requirements (KSAOs):
· Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills with a proven ability to articulate distinct aspects of services and product.
· Must possess a thorough understanding of IRI data
· Ability to prepare a presentation
· Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, and Word)
· Possess outstanding communication skills
· Problem solver who looks for solutions
· Have a desire to learn about and work with several brands.
· Have outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
· Must enjoy being part of a dynamic team
Demands/Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to travel to category reviews, market visits, trade shows and sales meetings estimated 30% to 50% travel per year.
Specifications (Minimum requirements):
· Be a motivated Salesperson who continually looks for new opportunities for sales and increased distribution.
· Bachelor’s degree
· At least 5 years of experience in managing/selling specialty and/or natural brands
Salary: $115 - $135 per year plus bonus eligible based on performance
