Our company is looking for candidates with experience supervising a team of employees and managing a floor. The ideal Floor Supervisor will be proficient in managing employee schedules, keeping the floor clean and fully stocked, and enforcing company policies. The successful candidate will be able to work well in a team environment, provide excellent customer service and use their strong communication skills to help resolve any customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Be aware of the organization's goals and mission, and be able to connect them to the daily tasks at hand.
• Know how to relate to subordinates, peers, and supervisors in a manner that fosters productivity.
• Set realistic schedules and goals for coworkers.
• Supervise the work of subordinate workers via meetings and encouraging workers to find solutions to problems rather than telling them what to do.
• Know how to convey information to other workers in a way that they understand.
• Be aware of legal limitations when hiring, promoting, or firing people.
• Make decisions based on fair evaluation of data and merit.
• Deal with conflicts among employees.
