Assistant Sales Manager

We are looking for an individual who wants to start or continue their career in the yacht and brokerage industry. The ideal candidate should be able to learn & grow in a challenging environment, adhere to company policies, work in a team atmosphere with the ability to complete tasks unsupervised as well. No previous experience is necessary, we will teach you how to be a successful in the brokerage business and give you a pathway to a successful future.

You will work closely with the General Manager, Office Manager and Sales Team to ensure all operations are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

· Respond to inquiries and leads immediately.

· Acquire quality brokerage and consignment listings.

· Check and update inventory daily.

· Collect vessel information to ensure all listings are accurate.

· Take pictures and videos of all new listings and post to our proprietary platforms.

· Show boats and participate in Surveys & Sea Trials.

· Be a laiason between the Sales team and Closing department.

· Follow up with buyers and sellers to ensure all paperwork is completed properly.

· Participate in company training programs.

· Requirements & Expectations

· Able to work in the United States

· Have reliable transportation to the office location (9:00am-5pm/Mon-Fri), and various vessel appointments/showings

· Must have a cellular phone & laptop

· Stay connected and easily reachable throughout the day

· Weekend and evening availability as required

· Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel

· Ownership of a truck to tow boats would be a plus

· Excellent communication and writing skills

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: $28,148.67 - $108,125.70 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
