With over 20 years of green energy experience our client provides turnkey residential and commercial services including EV charging, solar and back up battery systems. Their job is to make green energy an easy process by shouldering the heavy lifting services include calculations, design, rebates, projections, permitting, finance, installation, and so much more.

About the Opportunity
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a pipeline of new business, from prospecting through installation. You will work with the executive team to build the company and expand into different markets as well as partnering operations to streamline the sales process. This position will have the ability to work a hybrid office model.
Responsibilities
- Define sales goals & quotas.
- Develop pipeline management & forecasting methodology and processes.
- Develop customized pipeline development processes to identify all sales opportunities and qualify them for future sales forecasts.
- Tie new sales forecasting process into the CRM.
- Define individual vital metrics closely tied to company objectives to ensure overall goals are met.
- Develop a customized sales process to be more customer-facing and milestone-oriented.
- Define each step in the sales process connected to critical deliverables that need to be accomplished before moving on to the next step.
- Integrate new sales processes into the CRM.
- Develop sales profiles for the new sales resources.
- Travel with the sales team if applicable.
- Oversee pipeline development.
- Work with leadership and other departments to eliminate as much non-selling activity as possible.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls.
- Responsible for product knowledge to answer customer questions.
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Close sales and achieve sale goals.
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
- Perform compelling online demos to prospects.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirement and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
- At least three years of related experience preferably in electrical or green energy space
- Proven sales experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base plus uncapped commission based on experience
- 75K-145K
- Ability for growth based on performance
