Smith Boys is a privately-owned Boat Dealership with several locations in the Rochester area. We are looking for a Sales Manager for our Canandaigua Lake location.

About us: We are a Family-Owned, well-established Boat Dealership. We sell & service boats & related Marine Products to middle & upper income families.

Work Hours: SUMMER: 5+ days a week. WINTER: Reduced hours!

We sell: Sea Ray, Crownline , Starcraft & Bayliner Fiberglass Pleasure Boats, Berkshire & Starcraft Pontoon Boats; Malibu & Axis Ski Boats.

We operate: similarly to an Auto Dealership with a departmentalized financial statement and a General Motors Chart of Accounts.

Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:

• Sell Boats & related Marine Products
• Follow-up with Customers to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
• Train & stay engaged with the Staff; Be a Leader
• A successful candidate will be able to sell boats, ensure service work is completed and billed in a timely manner, and maintain a functional staff.

Skills & Qualifications Desired:

• Knowledge of Boats & Marinas preferred, but not required.
• Experience working in one of the following industries: Automotive, Recreational Motor Homes, Power Sports, Boat Dealerships or Real Estate.
• History of selling big ticket items
• Ability to close a deal
• Ability to manage a dealership staff & deal with high net worth individuals.
• Familiar with titles, liens, closeouts, actual cash values of trades & financing
• Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & Outlook

Salary: This is a full time Salaried plus Commissioned position; Base pay is dependent on experience & education.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
