Position Title: Sales Operations Specialist
Job Description: The Novus Insight sales department is responsible for uncovering technology service needs for clients and prospects in municipal government, nonprofit, K-12 education, libraries, and defense/aerospace manufacturing. The Sales Operations Specialist has broad responsibility for providing sales logistics support and contributing to sales operations efforts for the sales department. You will work closely with a team of consultants, technologists, and other professionals to help ensure that the sales department achieves its goals of serving internal departments and our clients with timely and accurate service proposals and agreements.
The most successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, time management, interpersonal skills, curiosity/inquisitiveness, and a desire to work in a growing and evolving services business.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Maintain broad responsibility and ownership over sales tickets, sales operations, and opportunities. Ensure that opportunities are nurtured into proposals.
· Review sales ticket boards and perform dispatch/management of tickets.
· Review the CRM database and opportunities within it to find blockages, backups, and slowdowns. Work with team to process proposals and move opportunities forward.
· Work with sales team to ensure appropriate data is captured in the CRM.
· Look for opportunities to add data and fill in gaps within the CRM.
· Assist in the preparation of sales reports.
· Assist in the preparation of training materials, onboarding materials, and marketing and sales materials.
· Assist with the development of proposal templates.
· Assist with the development of sales proposals.
· Assist with client communication and help answer basic procedural questions or gauge service satisfaction.
· Assist with the logistics of events, account management, and sales meetings.
· Proofread and grammar check agreements and materials as assigned.
· Primary responsibility for entering prospects and client data into the CRM.
· Assist with managing electronic and physical copies of agreements, proposal templates, and language/service “models” in the electronic proposal system
· Act as an additional point of contact for business and account issues and manage the escalation of these issues as appropriate.
· Coordinate the service renewal process (Fiscal & Calendar)
Job Qualifications:
· Education: Associate degree required (bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred)
· Experience: 2+ years sales or sales operations experience
· Skills: Strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; some graphic design & layout skills (in Office 365 platform); some data & report development skills (in Office 365 platform). Knowledge of service sales or desire to learn; knowledge of technology industries or desire to learn.
Physical Demands & Work Environment: The person in this position needs to frequently move about inside the office. Continually operates a computer. The person in this position continually communicates with individuals; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Must be able to view electronic information. Occasionally moves equipment. May travel to business-related sites.
Generally normal conditions with reasonable workstation flexibility. Moderate noise (business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
