Job description

The Family Service Counselor (FSC) reports to the Sales Manager and is accountable for serving client families, making at need cemetery arrangements, and selling pre-need arrangements. The Family Service Counselor serves families by providing exemplary personalized service and plays an essential role in generating revenue for the cemetery as well as acting as the primary contact for families. The sales counselor assists in growing market share selling pre-need protection and services to referred families.

Experience and Educational Requirements

- Equivalent to high school education and 1-2 years of college or an equivalent of education and experience

-Previous customer service and/or sales experience would be a definite asset

-One to two years of industry experience would be an asset

-Must hold a valid current license to perform duties, such as drive a car or sell insurance

-Must be an authorized driver as per the SCI Driver Safety Policy, and be able to drive frequently

Knowledge of computers and some software would be an asset

Must possess or obtain a Life - Insurance License from the State of Indiana.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
