Job description

We need a self-motivated, reliable, high-energy, friendly person to distribute flyers to select businesses in the San Leandro area. This is not a sales position. You do not have to sell anything. You must have a reliable vehicle, smartphone, or tablet with mobile Internet access. You will be driving to a location, walking around and distributing flyers to target businesses, then driving to another location and repeating the process.

We pay $20/hour for 40 hours per week plus mileage and commission to distribute flyers Monday through Friday between 8 am and 4:30 pm to businesses with forklifts or other material-handling equipment (we will provide training, directions, and lists). When you drop off a flyer, you are required to enter information about that business into our CRM database. If any business you enter buys equipment or hires us for repairs during the three months after you leave the flyer, you will receive a commission. We pay 2% of gross sales and rentals for all new and used equipment (sales prices range from a few thousand to forty-thousand or more, and rentals range from $249 per day up to $1,599 per month or more) and $50 for every business that schedules a service call or signs a preventative maintenance agreement. A sale is not considered final until payment is made in full. You will receive a commission report every other Friday.

This job requires lots of walking, up to 10,000 steps per day, or more, even during the heat of the day or foul weather. The dress code is casual, but shorts, t-shirts, and sleeveless shirts are not allowed.
