About the role

We are looking for the SAP Test Analyst to use system test experience into drive the testing function forward. It will be responsible for delivering high quality output and using a mixture of industry standard techniques and designs.

What are we looking for

• Able to drive defects from scripts
• Write efficient scripts to deliver execution
• Use of test tools for script writing, execution and defect management
• Defect Management – Controlling and managing defects to a high standard through use of tools
• Work on multiple projects
• Appropriate input and escalation to the Test Manager
• Accurate and timely reporting of test phases to enable progress measurement against plan
• Contribute to the prioritisation and reporting of defects
• Escalate project exceptions to the Project Manager / Change owner / Test Manager

Essential

• Highly motivated, self-directed, confident and & reliable
• Results focused
• Demonstrable experience of large scale testing projects (ideally global).
• Knowledge of dealing with a complicated SAP global distribution model
• Experience of order to cash processing within SAP retail ERP and CRM environment
• Knowledge of SAP retail Finance module
• Warehouse processing in SAP ECC6 for both Lean and full WM sites
• Ability to work with solutions which are highly dependent on Idocs to interact with systems connected to SAP
• Understanding of the SAP procurement to invoice process including creation of stock demand
• Use of SAP ECC6 Retail to allow the building and selling of made to order products.
• Skilled in writing acceptance criteria.
• Writing and gaining buy in for test plan documentation.
• Using reports to drive better testing and give the stakeholder community the ability to make fact based decisions.
• Lead testing status meetings with all stakeholders
• Ability to understand complex requirements and convert into a cohesive test plan.
• Excellent stakeholder management to ensure that test requirements/deliverables are fully understood and agreed by all customers.
• Review and apply as appropriate best in class analyst techniques to help deliver solutions.
• Implemented process improvements that drive quality and efficiencies.
• Working with 3rd parties.
• Proficient communication at all levels – written, face-to-face, telephone, across a global community
• Ability to remove perceived barriers to deliver high quality software

• Data Management and how to apply to drive efficient tests.
• E–Commerce (Know-how of RS website)
• Recognised Testing qualifications ISEB/ISTQB – Foundation
• Any SAP Module Certification will be an advantage
