SCOPE OF ROLE:
Responsible for design, analysis, configuration and support. Should be able to analyze and write the functional requirements. Must have experience in configuring warehouse management structures and should be able to conduct cross functional communication and provide expertise into resolution of issues. Must be results driven who can communicate well cross functionally and deliver results in a timely manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The SAP WM (Warehouse management system) specialist is responsible for the analysis, design, configuration & support of the SAP MM and WMS areas to meet the business needs of Rexnord Industries.
- Strong Functional hands-on experience with multiple SAP WM implementations.
- Work closely with business to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionality in MM and WMS modules.
- Understand Regal Rexnord SAP Global Template and provide solutions to ensure strong alignment between the business requirements/needs and the application solutions/services.
- Should be able to write functional specifications in detail.
- SAP Skill Requirement in WM: Good experience in configuring warehouse management structures – storage types, storage bins, quants, Warehouse movements, transfer requirements , transfer orders, goods receipts with inbound delivery, goods issues with outbound deliveries, picking and packing and handling unit, stock replenishment, fixed bin replenishment, picking strategies- FIFO, LIFO,SLED ,Put-away strategies-fixed bin, open bin, next empty bin, near bin, inventory processes , storage unit management etc., Should be able to understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area with this knowledge.
- Gather, validate, and document business requirement from product experts at business units. Efforts include interviewing experts and facilitating requirements workshops; ability to translate those requirements into a sustainable SAP process.
- Thorough cycle testing; unit testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Ability to ensure strong alignment between the business requirements/needs and the application solutions/services.
- Work closely and effectively with super-users and end-users to develop a strong SAP user community.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ideally 10+ years SAP ERP Systems experience in WM, EWM
- Strong SAP WM implementation experience is required.
- Full lifecycle implementation/integration experience (at least 3)
- Integration experiences with other areas such as PP, SD, MM, WM, FICO.
- Functional experience in manufacturing environment in any industry
- Experience working with integration with other solutions.
- Proven ability to provide configuration and analysis support SAP MM & WM modules with complete understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the native SAP functional solution.
- Excellent problem identifying and solving aptitude with strong configuration and design skills with acute attention to detail.
- Ability to work with a demanding and global user community
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to be flexible
- Able to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally in a team environment
- Problem solving ability - independently and within a team environment
- Ability to liaise and communicate well with internal customers and SAP team members in different time zones

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
