Description: :We are looking for a Senior Scala Developer who can help us maintain and enhance a very high volume consumer facing portal developed using Scala.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of UI and experience for the consumer facing portal
• Build product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
• Create innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business and to improve the overall health and reliability of the applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop software solutions that meet business needs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices for software development.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.

Required:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Software Engineering using Scala
• 3+ years of experience developing consumer facing experience design using Scala
• 3+ years of experience integrating with backend services
• 3+ years of Agile delivery experience
• 3+ years of experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• 3+ year of cloud experience

Desired:

• 3+ years of experience with Python, Java
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate build, deployment, and testing processes.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions to help shape the direction of the software development projects.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Scala and related technologies, and incorporate new technologies and best practices into software development processes.
