JOB DESCRIPTION
Scheduler
JOB SUMMARY:
The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and maintaining schedules for clients and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of Scheduling experience
- Ability to type at least 48 WPM
- Experience in-home care or knowledge of the health care industry is preferred.
- Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.
- Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
- Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
- Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication, organizational skills, and customer service techniques.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understands and adheres to established FirstLight HomeCare policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews.
- Update client paperwork in client’s homes.
- Assist the Scheduling Coordinator when asked.
- Answer phones when needed.
- Help with office needs when asked.
- Do introductions when needed.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Works indoors at the FirstLight Home Care Grand Junction office.
All work must be completed within this time frame. If the office is closed during this time frame due to a holiday, you may make up the hours on a different day but it will need to be approved by the Scheduling Coordinator.

LIFTING REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary:
- Ability to participate in physical activity.
- Ability to work for an extended period of time while sitting, standing, and/or being involved in physical activity.
- Moderate lifting.
- Ability to do moderate bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
