This position begins August 28, 2023 with additional days for new teacher training the week prior.

Description: 1.0 FTE Social Worker at Fridley Middle School

Job Summary: Performs professional work within district multi-tiered system of support through obtaining and analyzing data to determine social-emotional needs of students. Serves as a liaison/link between students and federal, state and local social and community support programs. Serves as building homeless liaison. Work is performed under the supervision of the Building Principal and Director of Special Services.

Provide basic and comprehensive services to individual students and families which would include: FTE: 1.0

Qualifications:

• Hold a baccalaureate degree from a college or university that is accredited
• Minnesota Department of Education School Social Worker License
