Seasonal Seamstress/Sewing Machine Operator

McCormick’s is looking for seasonal hires for our upcoming Summer Season! Join us as we create fun and inspiring flags and costumes for aspiring young performers all around the U.S.

Job Type: Seasonal/Temporary (possibly lead to Full-Time)

SEASON RUNS FROM JULY 2023 to OCTOBER 2023

Pay: $15.00/hour (may be more based on experience)

Skills:

· Previous sewing machine experience would be desired but not required

· Ability to work in a fast pace environment and switch between tasks when asked

· Strong sense of responsibility

· Reliable attendance and reliable transportation

· Attention to detail

· Must be able to sit or stand for long hours throughout shift depending on the given task

· Must be able to understand process specifications and use them to complete the assigned task.

· Great communication skills

· Must be able to lift to 10 lbs.

· MUST be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States

As a sewing machine operator your job will be to bring our designers creations to life through the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

· Complete given orders efficiently and cleanly during daily shifts

· Meet or exceed given quotas for the day

· General machine operating knowledge

· Re-threading machine, replacing needles, and winding bobbins

· Perform general machine maintenance such as cleaning and small repairs

Hours:

Generally 8 hours shifts, 40 hours a week

Work hours : 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Flexible Hours.

Possible overtime available as well

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $16.00 per hour
