DESCRIPTION:

This position reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent for Student Support and Special Education. This position involves a number of tasks that require judgment, interpretation of policies, and practice; discretion and confidentiality in matters are expected. This position will be responsible for state data systems, record-keeping of Placed Out student special education files, scheduling of PPT and 504 meetings, notification PPT/504 participants, scheduling of special transportation, and maintaining communications with schools and outside agencies. Applicants must be able to multitask, have strong organizational skills, have a pleasant manner and be able to work with district staff, outside agencies and State data systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful applicant will be expected to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office; maintain a database for outplaced students, knowledge of Power School, Google Docs, Frontline, the ability to multitask and assist with state reports.
