Job Summary:

Anderson Security Agency is looking for a Security Officer ( Afternoon Shift ) to join our team at our residential community in Mesa, AZ. We have several openings available on-site and encourage you to apply!

At the Residential Community, the Security Officer ( Afternoon Shift ) will be responsible for safeguarding the property, personnel, and equipment. The Security Officer ( Afternoon Shift ) would be required to conduct various patrols via company golf cart to inspect client properties and aid in the detection and protection against fire, theft, vandalism, terrorism, and illegal activity.

Essential Functions:

• Create a safe and secure community for all residents, employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Communicate appropriately with supervisors, peers, client associates, and the public professionally.
• Display intermediate/advanced computer skills to utilize the proprietary software on-site.
• Conduct thorough foot patrols around the premises to observe anything out of the ordinary.
• Provide exceptional customer service while displaying a positive attitude.
• Create and maintain a thorough understanding of standard operating procedures, site-specific post orders and duties, and client safety programs.
• Make ethical judgment decisions while carrying out your responsibilities according to company and client policies.
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail in all aspects of the job to ensure safety and security for all on-site.
• Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity in the performance of your duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age, per state standards.
• Unarmed Security Guard License in Arizona (We can help you get this!)
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. (We provide these for FREE!)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States legally.
• Submit a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Possess the minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education.
