The Role
The Security Operations team is expanding and looking for a Security Operations Analyst to join us at this key time to support the team. As a skilled IT Security practitioner you will support the security incident response process by triaging, analysing and investigating events escalated from the SOC. Investigations feed into our wider incident management framework where you will collaborate across our IT estate to take necessary containment actions to eradicate threats. We operated a broad spectrum of leading security technologies which you will gain experience in and drive security improvements through.
You will also support BAU activity tasks such as certificate & PKI management, Privileged Access Management, infrastructure currency & maintenance and generating Security Operations metrics and reports.
What you’ll bring

- Direct experience or relevant qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Networking or Software Development. Ideally cyber security related experience or education.
- Familiarity with the security elements of some of the following technologies:
- AWS, Azure, VMWare, Cisco, Containers
- Windows, Linux and MacOS
- Oracle, SQL Server and Postgres
- Web Application Firewalls
- IDS/IPS
- Cryptography management
- Vulnerability management
- SIEM
- Experience with change management processes.
- Ability to communicate well and accurately with different technology teams in both written and verbal terms.
- A passion for continuously improving, learning, and making a positive impact.#LI-KP1
