Position Description
The Senior Applications Analyst possesses the skills and experience to perform the duties of Applications Analyst in addition to the abilities to provide application design knowledge, expertise and facilitation. Consults with AU Health subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze, design, build, test, train, maintain and monitor service line applications. Participates in identifying new solutions and enhancing existing applications to improve processes and increase return on investment. Maintains current and accurate library of knowledge for assigned applications.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree: Information Technology or related field and 3 years or more of experience in application analysis or related field. Additional years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirement. Skills required: Proven ability to meet daily and monthly deliverables; Experienced in working cross functionally across the organization to support business strategic goals and plans; Possess a confident style which reflects emotional intelligence and a hands-on approach; Verbal and written communication.
Preferred Requirements
5 years or more of experience in application analysis or related field.
