The Role
Signet is in the process of transforming its marketing function into a highly agile, customer-centric, and personalization-driven operation. We have identified two key segments (bridal, fashion) that we want to channel personalized marketing communications. Signet is launching two customer marketing/personalization pods to perform, test and learn experiments in the market, with real customers with targeted messaging and outreach. We are looking for a strong leader and strategic thinker with a data-driven, test and learn mindset who will guide the pod to achieve its goals. This role will own customer microsegment definition, hypothesis generation for potential use cases to drive value, and strategic definition for each campaign, including target audience, messaging, KPIs, etc.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain pod sprint plans, including timelines, resources, and milestones, to achieve the personalization vision / strategy
Work closely with the Project Lead to understand segment strategy and ensure pod’s daily activities support its realization
Lead the team that creates and executes on pod strategies to drive value and deepen engagement across customer micro-segments
Own creation of the strategic brief for each sprint and support the pod by unblocking roadblocks throughout the sprint process
Provide a deep understanding of customers in the specific segment and the product portfolio needed to effectively tell the enterprise value story
Oversee measurement and reporting to ensure pod is on track to meet goals
Use insights from the Journey Lead and Research Analyst to understand key activities and signals across customer interactions to inform pod plans and messaging
Oversee and advise the development of campaign copy & creative to ensure effective engagement among micro-segments

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Development; MBA preferred but not required
5+ years of experience in marketing
Experience leading, running and measuring large-scale engagement and marketing initiatives
Experience understanding and managing media plans across multiple channels/platforms and customer journeys
Critical and strategic thinker with experience in customer segmentation and campaign execution
Experience planning and measuring customer lifetime value, including reporting program performance across key critical metrics
Extraordinary storyteller with strong written and verbal communication skills; strong at building and delivering compelling presentations
Comfortable leveraging customer data & insights to design meaningful experiences

The salary range for this opportunity is $140,500 – 200,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
