Make your mark as Senior Dive Technician with Boskalis Subsea Services in Aberdeen, On behalf of Ultimate Marine Solutions Limited, Boskalis Subsea Services, are looking for a Senior Dive Technician (Mechanical) to join our Boskalis fleet of dive support vessels.

Your responsibilities as Senior Dive Technician (Mechanical)

• Operate according to BSS policies, processes and procedures and any applicable legislation.
• Daily maintenance of plant and equipment, operation of winches and gantries, handling equipment, subsea diving equipment, mobilisation control and demobilisation of dive system and diving equipment. This includes executing maintenance as prescribed in the Planned Maintenance System and Manufacturers manual, and ensure critical spares availability, readiness and completeness.
• Troubleshoot problems and identify solutions and system improvements. Identify trends in equipment maintenance and breakdowns, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure DPRs are submitted in a timely manner to the local asset team with relevant spares information/status and highlighting any areas of concern.
• Ensures all records and documentation (work orders, requisitions, malfunction reports etc.) are completed in a detailed and logical manner inclusive of all technical data (e.g. serial and parts numbers) and all equipment certificates / maintenance records are maintained in the dedicated files.
• Submits a detailed dive equipment and spares spread inventory (in the detailed set format) as a minimum for each project.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Offshore Certification – BOSIET/FOET Including CA-EBS, OEUK Medical, MIST, Bi-Deltoid;
• Extensive experience with SAT systems, preferably in the UKCS sector;
• Recognised Trade Qualification in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering;
• Up to date IMCA Technician Logbook and Valid Certificate of Competence as Senior Dive Technician in accordance with IMCA D10 or IMCA competence portfolio;
• Kirby Morgan KM 97 / Ultrajewel 601/COBRA Maintenance Certification;
• Valid Seaman’s book;
