Sr. Electrical/Electronics engineer,

Location: Bonita Springs, FL

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following: other duties will be assigned in a progressive manner.

• Assignment of work to members of the electrical engineering team via the Ejob system.

• Closely monitoring the progress of approved programs and re-aligning resources as appropriate to maintain project deliverables.

• Electrical product development project management.

• Monitoring progress of development projects and aligning resources as appropriate to achieve project deliverables.

• Interface with electronics contract manufacturers to ensure uninterrupted production of PCBAs.

• o Support internal electronics production processes to ensure production volumes and quality standards are achieved.

• Coordinate engineering resources to support internal and external customer needs.

• Engineering department policy determinations.

• Training of new engineering department team members.

• Participate in performance evaluations of the electrical engineering team.

• Knowledge of industry standard failure analysis tools.

• o Develops technical solutions and manages design quality, cost, and timing to meet program milestones.

• Broad scope of responsibilities includes components and systems.

• Responsible for working cohesively with a group of engineers responsible for similar products on other applications, actively engaging in team issue resolution.
• Capable of managing very broad or numerous projects with high degree of difficulty.
• Exercises independent judgment, with minimal input from supervisor.
• Directs the design, analysis, release, and test of parts and/or subsystems for production.
• Provides feedback to management (i.e. progress to timing, evaluation of test results).
• Releases component designs and manages change control for design responsible components.
• Demonstrates that designs meet requirements through analysis, development and validation processes.
• Analyzes design through design failure modes effects analysis.
• Ensure qualification plans and procedures are review for fixture and equipment requirements.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline from an accredited university or college.

Experience required:

• Managing electronics hardware and software development teams.

• Developing mixed signal embedded systems.

• Generating electronics designs using Altium Designer.

• Experience developing in C, C#, and Python programming languages.

• Embedded system board bring-up, debugging and HIL testing.

• Administrating software engineering infrastructure.

• Maintaining git repositories and workflows (Bitbucket), maintaining and delegating feature and bug ticketing (JIRA)

• Working knowledge of electronics hardware design EMI/EMC best practices

• Working knowledge of ISO/SAE automotive electrical standards (ISO7637, ISO16750, ISO11452, SAEJ1113, CISPR25, J1939)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $80,000.00 per year
