CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS


  • Manage the Finished Good Obsolete inventory reporting utilizing the phase matrix model.
  • Manage the Raw Material Obsolete inventory reporting, and LSMR database.
  • Oversee the Quality Hold process by:
    • Ensuring proper documentation of policy and procedures
    • Coordinating reviews of the Quality Hold detail, and developing processes to improve the accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
    • Assist the Manager of Inventory Accounting with developing a procedure for removal of old age items from quality hold.
  • Lead ERP integration activities as it relates to quality hold and Obsolescence.
  • Assist the Manager of Inventory Accounting in developing robust policy and procedures to help support our annual audit processes with Ernst and Young.
  • Assist with the management of the domestic balance sheet inventory accounts by ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation.
  • Various Ad Hoc analyses and reporting.
  • Manage and provide leadership to two direct reports

POSITION REQUIREMENTS


  • FORMAL EDUCATION:
    • Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in Accounting or Finance.

  • KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
  • Required:
  • 2 - 4 years of accounting or finance experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, EPM, and Oracle.
  • Preferred:
  • 1 – 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience with QAD, AOM, and BO
  • Auditing experience

  • TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Required:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Preferred:
  • Knowledge of current Global Supply Chain inventory processes.
