CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Manage the Finished Good Obsolete inventory reporting utilizing the phase matrix model.
- Manage the Raw Material Obsolete inventory reporting, and LSMR database.
- Oversee the Quality Hold process by:
- Ensuring proper documentation of policy and procedures
- Coordinating reviews of the Quality Hold detail, and developing processes to improve the accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
- Assist the Manager of Inventory Accounting with developing a procedure for removal of old age items from quality hold.
- Lead ERP integration activities as it relates to quality hold and Obsolescence.
- Assist the Manager of Inventory Accounting in developing robust policy and procedures to help support our annual audit processes with Ernst and Young.
- Assist with the management of the domestic balance sheet inventory accounts by ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation.
- Various Ad Hoc analyses and reporting.
- Manage and provide leadership to two direct reports
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- FORMAL EDUCATION:
- Required:
- Bachelor's Degree with a major in Accounting or Finance.
- KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Required:
- 2 - 4 years of accounting or finance experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, EPM, and Oracle.
- Preferred:
- 1 – 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Experience with QAD, AOM, and BO
- Auditing experience
- TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Preferred:
- Knowledge of current Global Supply Chain inventory processes.
