Senior Financial Analys
t to join a government organization in Tampa.
This associate will be responsible for supporting the administrative activities of the finance and accounting departments.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
This associate will be responsible for supporting the administrative activities of the finance and accounting departments.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Analyzing accounting and fiscal data, reports, and records.
- Preparing journal entries and posting transactions to the proper accounts.
- Preparing and monitoring operating budgets.
- Reconciling and balancing financial statements and accounting records and ledgers.
- Providing administrative support to the department and coordinating regular and special projects.
- Performing special studies of accounting functions and recommending process improvements by interfacing with the MIS department.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in accounting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, or related experience
- Understanding of corporate and partnership accounting and tax compliance
- Strong management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suites
