Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000 annually.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for overseeing the month-end close process and for oversight of the Construction Annual Business Plan and related reporting/reforecasting in accordance with Holland Partner Group’s Core Values.
Responsibilities:- Review month end financial statements including all supporting documents and schedules for assigned business unit.
- Compile and distribute monthly management reports, including preparing variance analyses for regional business units.
- Assist the Corporate Accounting and Tax Manager with cash management and compile cash forecasts for review and planning.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with regional business leads for financial analysis and business performance.
- Oversee the preparation of annual business plan and quarterly reforecasts.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support management’s decision making.
- Oversee the financial side of pursuits including forecasting timing of funding and partner with regional teams, monitor status, timing of pursuits and costs incurred.
- Assist Corporate Accounting and Tax Manager with evaluation of internal control environment and ensure adherence to internal controls over financial reporting and cash management.
- Oversee contract revenues recognition and expense allocation to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Review Construction specific reporting (e.g. Volume Projection Schedule, bond and SDI reporting) and distribute to the appropriate parties.
- Coordinate with external accountants to provide all required accounting information to ensure timely completion of the quarterly financial statement reviews and annual financial statement audits.
- Oversee tax compliance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Research and resolve accounting issues affecting underlying accounting records.
- Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.
- Conform to company apparel standards and set a positive example for all Associates.
- Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.
Experience : Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting required. Previous experience in Construction accounting and/or public accounting preferred. CPA license is preferred and may be considered in lieu of experience if minimum criteria is not met.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Construction accounting experience preferred.
- Thorough understanding of basic accounting principles (i.e. journal entries, debits, credits, etc.),
- Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced operating environment and meet deadlines through effective time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to accurately work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Yardi preferred.
This position also requires:
- Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.

- Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
