The postholder is part of a team of individuals working in the Gastrointestinal Infections Food Safety (One Health) Division of CEI Directorate and will lead the surveillance of food associated gastrointestinal infections. The postholder will be responsible for the continued development of the surveillance and epidemiology portfolio relevant to food safety and this includes working with specialists in the Gastrointestinal Bacteria Reference Unit (GBRU), the Food, Water and Environmental (FW&E) Network, Government, and other stakeholders on a range of projects, programmes, and incidents.
