OVERVIEW:
The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining P&C technologies. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, designing and developing effective solutions, supporting people analytics and aligning P&C technology with business strategies, Will serve as a liaison between P&C, other departments, IT, and external vendors by developing an understanding of business policies/procedures of the P&C functional areas. This position will develop, maintain, and execute reports for business users; develop, coordinate, and conduct testing for system support/enhancements; develop training materials, implementation plans, and change management strategies. proactively recommend new technologies, and serve as a project manager for small-to medium-technology projects.

- Responsible for all HR reporting, metrics and analysis to meet the needs of the HR organization as well as other organizations across the enterprise.
- Ensure data integrity, analysis and reporting for the People & Culture department.
- Create and design reports, analyze data and tell the story from the data that will help pinpoint areas of focus and potential solutions.
- Supports the functional design and maintenance of HR interfaces by interacting with vendors, creating functional design documents, and working with technical IT staff to ensure understanding of the functional requirements.
- Responsible for the analysis, functional configuration, testing and maintenance of HRIS system modules, Recruiting and LMS systems to ensure optimal support of the business.
- Performs functional configuration tasks that satisfy end user requests for fixes, changes, and enhancements.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with business leaders, HR business partners, and other departments (such as Finance and IT) to gain alignment on metrics and processes across the company.
- Build analytical capability of HR business partners through guidance, consultation, and training as the expert on the selection of appropriate tools, the identification of drivers, trends, and proactive opportunities from the data, and the presentation of insights as a visually compelling story.
- Supports the rollout of various HR systems related projects and assists in creating rollout plans, which includes communication and training materials. Develops training material and provides formal and informal training sessions to HR end-users.
- Takes ownership to continually assess business needs and implement measures that will ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded by enhancing system capability, reporting and performance.
- Develops process enhancements, manages issues resolution, and delivers reporting for the business. Exercises good judgment in use of coding standards and technical documentation. Works effectively with multiple types of reporting tools. Performs complex queries for analysis and reporting.
- Understands multiple, modular objects and the messaging interface between objects to analyze moderately complex software packages. Applies extensive configuration knowledge to architect solutions, considering all significant capabilities, features and functionality.
- Writes, revises and verifies functional test plans and scripts. Manages multiple phases of testing, to include performing complete system and user testing cycles.
- Monitors system functionality and performance to ensure standards are met. Documents and tracks product defects and coordinates problem resolution with development and/or product vendors.
- Provides analysis of collected data to gain actionable insight to drive business decisions for all areas of the company related to People and Culture.
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of degree(s)
- 3-6 years of HRIS systems experience preferred
- Experience with UltiPro a plus
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain processes and policies effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in process mapping, identifying opportunities and providing recommendations for process improvement.
- Ability to solve complex problems for issue resolution; creatively and resourcefully resolve elevated issues while applying sound judgment and accountability.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general workforce .
- Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated successful track record of effective management of outside contractors and/or vendors. Proven success in effectively managing through influence and directly by prioritizing to meet business requirements and deadlines.
- Strong attention to details and problem resolution and decision making skills.
- Ability to resolve elevated issues by being creative and resourceful while displaying sound judgment and accountability
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and process documents.
- Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests, as well as collaborating with others to utilize resources and knowledge of others in identifying quality solutions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon time frames through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast- paced environment.
- Experience working in a global organization and systems preferred.
