Your Responsibilities


As a Senior In-Circuit Test Engineer for JD Electronic Solutions located in Fargo, North Dakota, you will:


  • Design new and enhance existing In-Circuit Test (ICT) systems for robust electronics intended for on/off road vehicles and harsh environments.
  • Perform engineering change orders, analysis, design, programming, debugging, hardware integration and verification.
  • Provide support and complex troubleshooting of existing In Circuit test systems.
  • Investigate, gather and analyze data without assistance from others. Review and provide proper feedback about the requirements.

What Skills You Need


  • 2 or more years of experience in SW development (C, C++, XML, etc.)
  • 5 or more years of experience in Navigate or other Teradyne programming languages)
  • Technical expertise using and understanding schematics and HW analysis software (Pspice, MathCAD)
  • Experience in statistical analysis (SPC, GR&R, Monte Carlo, etc.)
  • Experience with development and debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters, etc.)
  • Experience with basic electronics HW and systems (i.e. Op Amp, FET’s, Transistors, A/D converters, serial and parallel interfaces, etc.)
  • Understanding of product development phases
  • Good written and verbal communications skills (English)
  • Electronics manufacturing In-Circuit testing experience

What Makes You Stand Out


  • Experience with fixture electronics (i.e. relay boards, crystal measurement boards, programming tools, etc.)
  • Experience in Advanced programming methods
  • Experience with basic machine control

Education


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • Minimum B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering from an accredited engineering program.
