About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Management Analyst - Strategic Data Sourcing Lead to join the Strategic Data Sourcing Team within Consumer Data & Engagement Platforms (CDEP) as part of Consumer Small Business Banking (CSBB). This is an individual contributor role that will partner with business and technology leaders in establishing strategic sources for each CSBB Lending product (e.g., Home Loans, Auto, Deposits, etc.). This role will implement roadmap for long term strategic sourcing solutions for the Bank and provide tactical sourcing solutions to support the interim high priority needs along with remediating any gaps to achieve the long-term solution(s).

In this role, you will:
- Support the Strategic Data Sourcing leader in all sourcing initiatives across the various lines of business within Consumer domain. This will include understanding the current data architecture within Wells Fargo for each line of business and providing roadmaps to align with strategic direction for data sourcing within the Bank.
- Ensure that any new business initiatives are aligned with the strategic data sourcing roadmap for the Bank.
- Provide tactical solutions on initiatives including regulatory use cases with aggressive timelines while working with stakeholders towards the long-term strategic data goals
- Partner with business and technology in driving the remediation of non-approved sources and uplifting of applications to align with Data Management & Insights (DMI) policy expectations
- Partner with business and technology in establishing a single source of truth for respective data usages across the various lines of business.
- Partner with business leaders and technology in building and achieving the target roadmap for data across the various lines of business
- Work with technology in building the required tools to facilitate the delivery of Data Management Policy artifacts
- Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
- Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
- Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
- Partner with groups companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution
- 7+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5 years of data sourcing experience within Consumer and Small Business Banking, Home Lending, Cards, Auto, Deposits or any other Financial Services line of business
- 5+ years of technical skills experience including Microsoft SQL, SAS or Oracle
- Strong understanding of risk management and controls within data management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under strict timelines and regulatory mandates
- Understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and procedures (e.g., FRY 14, FFIEC, BSA AML, etc.)
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
