ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget, and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Supports the Deputy Program Manager (DPM) for the FORD Class Carrier Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Systems at the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in Patuxent River, MD. Supports the DPM in planning, managing, and executing the program portfolio. Must be able to develop, maintain, and conduct analysis on integrated master schedules to coordinate and integrate program activities (to include engineering changes, obsolescence planning, and critical supply chain activities), key interdependencies, critical hand-offs, resource and funding availability, and program risks to construct a comprehensive and networked portfolio-level schedule. Also, must be able to apply critical thinking to integrate cost, schedule, and technical factors to deliver the right information to program stakeholders and executive leadership. This position involves daily interface and coordination with all levels of the IPT, including government, contractor, and filed activity personnel associated with the program office. Position will support hybrid in-office and telework schedule.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
MA/MS degree. Allowable Substitution: BA/BS Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree, or an AA/AS Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree, or six (6) years additional work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience.
CONTRACT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE
At least ten (10) years of experience in program management, technical, or business analysis related to aviation/ship systems acquisition and life cycle management. Demonstrated experience in program/project status, management, and schedules.
Required Clearance: Secret
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a security clearance.
