Position Title: Senior Manager, Finance – FP&A, D&T
Reports to: Senior Director, Finance D&T
Location: Atlanta, GA
This position reports to the Senior Director, Finance Distribution and Transportation and will partner with the supply chain, segment finance, and GBS to drive profitable growth for the business. This role will help support the consolidations of the Global Supply Chain Distribution financials, with a focus on productivity, forecasting, and capital spend. The work completed in this role will influence management decision making by providing timely and accurate financial information. The applicant should be comfortable working in a fast paced, flexible environment. The ability to work across teams effectively is critical to the success of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive financial alignment across the GSC Distribution network
- Manage capital project budgets and perform cost benefit analysis
- Lead weekly and monthly meetings with functional partners to review financial information
- Drive productivity focus across the D&T network
- Manage month-end close activities for Distribution & Transportation, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Perform ad hoc analysis as needed, including project based work that supports the cross functional team on cost analysis of various key decisions
- Partner with Global Internal Audit and Global Internal Controls to ensure compliance as we standardize processes across the network
- Work with functional counterparts to track metrics to improve decision making on key projects
- Lead the budgeting cycle for Distribution & Transportation across the network
- Understand cost drivers across the network
- Provide month-end close support and analysis for various needs of the finance team
- Complete other ad hoc analysis and requests as needed
Key Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree in Accounting/Finance
- CPA desired
- 8-10 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment.
- Significant experience with SAP is strongly preferred
- Leadership: Takes responsibility for delivering stated outcomes regardless of challenges encountered
- Communication: Can build relationships and influence people across all levels in a matrix organization
- Executive presence: Comfortable working with and influencing senior leaders
- Analytical skills: Ability to assess risks and opportunities within complex business situations
