The Senior Manager of Learning and Development is responsible for leading, developing, and shaping CCC’s learning strategy based on the organization’s unique service lines and talent development initiatives. This position will provide leadership and project management across the L&D team to maximize the impacts of CCC’s outputs through internal and external training development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain a scalable and sustainable learning experience that assists all business lines in growing the culture, operations, and knowledge necessary for success.
- Ensure high-quality, efficient, and equitable administration of comprehensive training and employee development functions designed to support employees at every level of the organization in realizing their full potential.
- Manage all CCC portfolio of training with a focus on updating training annually and ensuring quality and relevance while working with subject matter experts to perform training needs assessments, identify learning objectives, and design learning content.
- Lead strategy for employee development activities, including manager collaboration events, education fairs, and research opportunities for additional training outside of CCC.
- Work cross-functionally with the other CCC functions on projects, ongoing support, and guidance regarding data maintenance, correspondence, scheduling, and assessment.
- Establish Key Performance indicators for learning and development strategies and initiatives and use results to create change as needed.
- Evaluate and develop an internal trainer pool connected to the overall employee development strategy.
- Partner with leaders and guide quantitative and qualitative analysis to measure the effectiveness of digital learning experiences and recommend solutions for continuous improvement
- Create and maintain standardized materials, presentations, and learning approaches to ensure consistent and strategic agency messaging.
- Develop and utilize the system for evaluation of internal training as well as use findings to implement changes where needed.
- Plan, organize and facilitate employee development and training events.
- Develop & implement CCC’s education assistance program, including job-related training assistance, higher education scholarships, CADC acquisition funding, and license supervision funding.
- Responsible for developing and continuously improving Learning Management System (LMS) content and functions.
- Collaborates with CCC’s IT department in identifying significant enablers for learning technology platforms and applications.
- Oversee and lead all L&D communications, including overseeing the L&D Share Point site.
- Provide oversight and ongoing assessment of the Employee Development Policy Manual to ensure policies are current with agency philosophy and regulatory standards.
- As requested, provide cohesive reporting on compliance, cost, and other training data to executive leadership and external entities.
- Adhere to all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and CCC policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security. Support compliance with all privacy and security requirements pursuant to community partners' and outside providers’ patient confidentiality agreements, including privacy and security requirements for EMR access. This includes immediately reporting any breach of protected health information or personal identifying information of any person receiving CCC services by CCC or an outside provider to the CCC Compliance Department, as well as to your supervisor or their designee.
- Provide live backup training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Administration, Public Health, Psychology, or another relevant or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- A minimum of 5 years of experience developing training programs within a complex organization is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience is required, and experience in a Health Services organization is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing training and education programs within a complex organization.
- Advanced computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Office 365, HRIS, LMS, SaaS, course authoring, and SharePoint.
- Experience with office machines (Fax, photocopier, printers, etc.)
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull, and lift heavy objects.
- Must be able to climb stairs several times a day.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test, TB test, and background check.
- Will be required to carry an agency cell phone for work use. Central City Concern will provide a cell phone.
- Must adhere to the Agency’s policies of nondiscrimination.
