The role:

Due to the reliance on IT services within the Bank, the ever evolving landscape posed by cyber threats and the strategic focus on Technical Debt remediation; we are looking to add a Technology focused Senior Risk Manager to the team.

We are looking for candidates with experience in Technology Risk Oversight and/or candidates with a background in 1st, 2nd or 3rd line Technology Risk or Audit roles) based in Manchester or remotely. This role comes with an attractive benefits package to be discussed.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

• Ensure the Framework for Technology Principal Risk operates in line with the Bank Risk Management Framework

• Responsible for the authorship of Technology Risk Policies and Control Standards

• Providing the measurement, oversight and assurance for Technology Principal Risk

• Reporting on the Technology Risk Profile to the Executive

• Ensuring that Technology Risk inputs to the annual ICAAP process are accurate and a fair representation of the levels of associated risk

• Ensure actions to address Technology Risk issues are aligned to reducing the Banks capital holdings for Systems and Business Disruption.

• Provide support and guidance to Business Areas to ensure current and future exposure to risk is identified, measured, managed, mitigated and reported through the appropriate governance in a timely and accurate manner in line with Risk Management Framework processes and requirements.

To apply for this role, you'll need to be experienced in a similar role. You'll also need:

• Experienced at a senior level in a ‘3 lines of defence’ role
• Experience of Technology Risk methodologies and approaches
• CISA, CRISC or equivalent accreditation
