We're looking for a high-energy, talented photographer to join a newly formed production group at GE Appliances in Louisville, KY. Park Studios is an in-house creative team within GE Appliances that offers video production, animation, photography, and design services. To support critical new product launches, we’re looking for a Senior Photographer who can work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment where efficiency and excellent work are top priorities. This role will work with our Art Director & Videographer to help plan, set-up, and complete photo sessions delivering clear, dynamic photos according to the Art Director's specifications. Duties include setting up backdrops, lighting, and equipment to prepare for photo shoots, directing models, shooting and delivery of final assets.

How You'll Create Possibilities
- Lead execution of all photography tasks including lighting, equipment setup, composition, image capturing, extensive editing and retouching and properly organize and archive final files.
- Responsible for limbo and lifestyle photography required for all customer digital shelf execution.
- Enable internal execution of product 360’s enhancing content for key customers.
- Facilitate eco-revenue strategy by providing on-line “add-on” content to bolster revenue across product lines.
- Serve as creative collaborator on communication platform ideas for key initiatives.
- Shoot content with an exceptional range of creativity and technical ability.
- Ensure studio output exceeds industry standards and drives towards continuous improvement and creative solutions.
- Oversee brand standards, lighting technique, and image quality.
- Keep equipment up to date, organized, and maintained.
- Collaborate and maintain relationships with team members, models, stylists, hair/makeup artists, etc.
- Utilize up-to-date knowledge of product trends and photography/imaging technology to enhance product photo presentation.
- Represent Park Studios cross functionally within GE Appliances as well as liaise with external companies, creative studios, and agencies.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant work experience in product photography or adjacent field
- Strong knowledge of product photography with the ability to create high quality studio images, and product-focused lifestyle images
- Demonstrated experience of close partnership with Art Directors to execute vision in clear, creative storylines.
- Excellent project management skills to deliver work objectives across varying projects and priorities
- Understanding of color, texture, and light, and how these elements work together with experience using Animation software (3D Max, Autodesk Maya)
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience with Canon hardware, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and CGI capability a plus
- Can-do demeanor with ability of adapting to change in business needs or creative direction
- Pro-active problem solver with the skillset to assess an issue and develop action steps for resolution
