About the role:
The Senior Project Analyst will be responsible for tracking and reporting on cross-divisional projects within Supplier Quality.
- Support project tracking by leveraging methods for expanding/optimizing data collection, analysis, and visualization. This individual will help lead our data driven mission to eliminate manual data gathering, globally harmonize analytics and visualization tools, and enable project planning informed by data trends.
- Support project reporting by effectively engaging Supplier Quality as well as cross-functional stakeholders to increase visibility to existing efforts, improve project intake and re-prioritization decisions, and grow awareness of project successes as well as lessons learned.
This is a US based position and can be on-site, hybrid, or remote. For on-site or hybrid work mode, it can be based out of Marlborough, MA; Maple Grove, MN; or Arden Hills, MN.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging stakeholders to define and advance continuous improvement opportunities aligned with our Best4 Quality strategy (Best Culture, Best Agility, Best Performance, Best Compliance).
- Establishing effective communication methods and cadence for reporting project statuses/updates.
- Understanding Supplier Quality data needs/requirements and establishing sustainable automated processes to support.
- Staying aware of the rapidly developing data infrastructure and analytics tools for potential application.
- Championing standards, processes, and best practices for data collection, analytics, and visualization across the Supplier Quality Engineering organization.
- Supporting ad hoc requests and special projects as needed.
- Demonstrating a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
Required qualifications:
- BS degree in Engineering or related degree with 5+ years or MS degree and 3+ years experience in manufacturing, quality, or regulatory/compliance environment within the medical device or other highly regulated industry
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience with data collection and analytics
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with data and analytics programs such as Tableau and/or the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.)
- Experience working in supplier quality or with medical device suppliers
- Organizational, and written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for Quality
