Senior Property Accountant - Flexible Payment Structure!
Our client, a family-owned real estate company, is looking to add a Senior Property Accountant to their team! This company is located in Rockville, MD, and has been in business for over 60 years! The Senior Property Accountant will assist in running the accounting department while making an impact on the entire organization.

- Prepare financial statements, variance analysis, payroll, and intercompany transactions.
- Responsible for quarter-end close and year-end financial packages for 15-20 separate entities.
- Review property P&L monthly and communicate discrepancies, unusual variances, or questions to the attention of the Property Manager and Management.
- Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
- Tracking pending leases to ensure timeliness of initial rental billing and review lease abstracts for accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THE SENIOR PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT:
- BS degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- 3+ years of recent property accounting experience
- Firm understanding of GAAP
- Strong Excel skills
- Navision experience is a plus!
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
