Infosys is seeking a Se nior SAP S4 HANA Project Manager.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be contributing to different phases of the project lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution in S4 conversion program. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training, internal capability building, and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications for Senior SAP S4 HANA Project Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor currently.
  • Location for this position is Sunnyvale California. This position may require travel and/or relocation.

Preferred Qualifications for Senior SAP S4 HANA Project Manager
  • At least 10 years of experience in SAP Project Management.
  • Experience of working in Pharma clients is must.
  • Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain
  • Must have experience of managing the ITIL based operations
  • Must have experience to identify the process gaps, define/modify processes to solve a problem in operations
  • Must have good understanding of S4 conversion approach and simplifications in S4 world.
  • Should be able to setup the reporting and governance of the project
  • Planning and Managing the S4 bluefield conversion program
  • Meet with Client Management to review Infosys performance and manage escalations and provide weekly and ad-hoc status reports as well as key metrics to stake holders
  • Anchor the client feedback collection and work on improvement plan
  • Liaise with client executives to project delivery for SAP S4 conversion program
  • Manage Infosys Portfolio leads comprising of Lead Consultants, Senior Consultants, Technology Architects, Technology Leads to discuss and finalize operating Model with the client executives on release management
  • Good understanding on SAP S/4 landscape and one of the modules is must
  • Work with client on defining cutover plan and executing this through the lifecycle of the program
  • Work with Client Management team and facilitate onshore / offshore coordination through direct repartees of Lead Consultants, Senior Consultants, Technology Architects, and Technology Leads at onsite for delivery of the AMS service.
  • Looking for new opportunities for increasing the footprints
  • Chair the proposals for the accounts and present it to customers
  • Present various Change orders for the accounts and Monitor the Invoicing
  • Perform key tasks of delivering of the AMS service, which includes services like Incident Management, Service Request Management, Release management, Contract Change Request, Client Relationship management, Performance appraisals, Service Transitioning management and business development
  • Review project risks regularly, identify key risk elements and propose mitigation plans like trainings, frameworks and proof of concepts
  • Manage the Project escalations and perception management
  • Responsible for resource planning and monitoring of resource utilization across all phases of the project, including hiring and firing of people.
  • Identify new opportunities in emerging technologies such as Automation, Cloud Native Applications, etc. and work on associated proposals as per business needs
  • Ensure team’s overall compliance with financial/operational guidelines towards time/expenses for project delivery
  • Conduct performance appraisals, identify training needs, coach and mentor the next level of employees to meet client expectations
  • Single point of contact for the S4 conversion program to manage the expectations and relationships with the Customer
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
