Position Description: We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams, with developers, and UX designers.The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for presenting Andor's product's development in a way that is attractive and convenient for users. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for collaborating with the rest of the UI team to create interactive programs that enhance Andor's customer's experience. The ideal Senior Software Engineer must have a thorough and comprehensive understanding of coding and transfer the Andor brand's strength through the interface of a product.

Position Responsibilities:

• Determining the structure and design of web pages
• Ensuring user experience determines design choices
• Developing features to enhance the user experience
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design

Basic Qualifications:

• 6+ years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI design
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces
• Proficient in React/React Native (3+ years' experience), HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience creating storyboards and site mapping
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data for the best possible outcome
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently
• Professional written and interpersonal skills
• Continued education and research into UI trends and current design strategy and technology
• 4+ years of experience with JavaScript including working with testing frameworks and debugging kits
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, NPM, Yarn, etc.
• Experience with software version control systems such as Git
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• An ability to work within concrete timetables and deliver executables by product deadlines

• Experience designing web and mobile solutions for enterprise platforms
• Advanced knowledge of wireframing and/or prototyping tools and methodologies
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• High energy level, enthusiastic and passionate about moving the state of the application forward
• Highly creative and inquisitive; able to multitask effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience working with WebRTC and video calling implementations, including group video calling UI solutions is a plus
