We’re seeking a future team member in the role of Data Quality Analyst to join our Enterprise Data Governance team. This role is in Pittsburg, PA

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Perform data quality activities (data quality rule creation, profiling and deployment, edit checks, identification of issues, root cause analysis, value case analysis, remediation planning
• Perform complex analyses to support business rules. Provide feedback to stakeholders regarding results.
• Conduct root cause analysis, pattern analysis, and other validation to detect errors
• Identify, assess, and resolve (cleanse) data quality issues by creating validation rules for assessing the quality of data relative to business rules and previous trends
• Analyzing rule requirements to determine logic and physical data controls for validity, completeness and consistence.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Enterprise data quality dashboards
• Research data lineage to help detect areas that have issue with data quality
• Coordinate Data Quality activities with the Data Management team / Data Governance Committee and Data Quality Working Groups)
• Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of Enterprise KPI and reporting

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field or equivalent years of experience
• 3 years of professional data quality work experience in the financial services industry 2 years of working knowledge Data Quality tools
• Experience with data, preferably in data management or governance
• 2+ years’ experience in data quality SDLC
• Experience with navigating data structures and models
• Experience working with data flows, SQL and other data modelling disciplines

Preferred:

• Collibra (Data Quality Data Catalog, Business Glossary Data Lineage)
• Enterprise Issue Management applications
• Experience implementing data quality operating model for Regulatory Reporting, Liquidity & Compliance

Bachelors degree in computer science, actuarial science, finance, economics, mathematics/statistics or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.5-7 years of total work experience preferred. Experience preferred in ensuring departmental data integrity, assessing and monitoring data quality issues against policies. Creating business logic and rules, creating, editing, modifying, sharing and restricting access to data, monitoring and/or escalating data quality issues until resolution, attesting to data integrity as delivered to users, data tiering and data metering, remediating unresolved data incidents, defining the health and proper usage of owned data throughout the enterprise, serving in a data governance role in financial services..
