Become an integral part of a diverse team. Currently, DIGITALPSEC is seeking an experienced, motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Strategic Account Executive - Defense Agencies to join our team.

Location: Fairfax, VA/Remote Possible

Accomplished sales professional with demonstrated success in selling services and technology to federal accounts. The Strategic Account Executive we’re looking for is able to develop a multi-year account management plan and organize a cross-functional team to deliver this plan and execute new business opportunities. The current opening requires deep knowledge of DoD.

How you'll make an impact

  • Own and coordinate all aspects of the sales cycle within your assigned accounts. Build and execute a multi-year strategic account management plan for your top accounts
  • Build strong, collaborative and productive relationships with technology partners and their respective sales personnel to both gain and share leads in support of building qualified pipeline and maximizing mutually beneficial sales opportunities
  • You'll identify and understand our client's core concerns and how they correlate to DIGITALSPEC solutions
  • Effectively communicate DSPEC value proposition & Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) status across DoD and other federal agencies

Qualifications for success

  • Experience in building, selling, and negotiating complex and multi-year IT services and solutions to Government clients.
  • Minimum 6 years experience and domain knowledge of U.S. Department of Defense Community years' experience
  • Ability to document the org chart in real-time during live conversation and explain various players within the organization
  • Direct connections to different levels of the target organization. Ability to call on them within first 2 weeks to get 3 appointments scheduled
  • 7-15 years of working within the software services, networking infrastructure
  • 7-15 years of technology and/or cloud computing industry software development practices
  • Demonstrated ability to research, initiate, and cultivate business relationships with key executives, contacts, and sponsors within assigned accounts/territory
  • Proven track record of exceeding assigned quotas
  • 5-10 years of professional writing, presentation development, and speaking skills in national security or defense community settings.
