Job description
Overview:
Installs, configures, and maintains information system components within Government owned facilities and integrates enterprise applications with other interconnected systems; troubleshoots flaws in software, hardware configuration, communications equipment, and provides escalation support to system support personnel; performs root cause analysis for errors or flaws and then communicates these anomality’s to the Development Team to recommend necessary remediation; interacts with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements, and design; may supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists. Support entails the full range of mission application operations and maintenance of current mission applications integrated into the Department of State (DoS) Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR) Enterprise and new mission applications to be integrated over the life of the task order.
Responsibilities:

Required , Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and technologies.
- Understands the TCP/IP, information security/authorization profiles, or system administration of Unix or Windows networks/systems.
Required Education and Experience:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree
- TS/SCI Clearance
- At least 8 years of experience in system administration
