About the Role
The TPG Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition, Senior Talent Acquisition Lead, and other members of the Providencia leadership team in the full-life cycle recruitment within social work, corporate, and strategic hire positions.
What You’ll Do
- Accurately evaluate candidates based on core competencies and cultural fit with our growing organization.
- Build effective networks and relationships to maintain a strong pipeline of talent.
- Manage the flow of employee referrals and candidates.
- Compile and communicate recruiting data and metrics and ensure compliance with hiring policies, practices, and company values.
- Successful hiring of talent for TPG’s openings.
- Proactive and strategic approach to recruiting and recruiting team day-to-day functions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) required.
- Ability to work independently in the field and exercise a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to navigate via applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred).
- Exceptional customer service, sourcing, and recruitment skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Ability to effectively communicate and push back where necessary.
- Ability to travel to job fairs when necessary.
- Duties are performed via a government approved computer system. Employees are required to possess strong computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
- Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice – management reserves the right to revise these duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- B.A./B.S. Degree or PHR or other certifications and 5+ years of recruiting in a high-volume environment with experience across multiple disciplines including technical, sales recruiting, creative, internal corporate function recruiting. The degree/certification requirement can be substituted by 7+ years of relevant employment experience demonstrating advanced level of corporate talent acquisition and recruiting experience.
- A mix of agency, government, and/or corporate recruiting experience (highly preferred)
- Proven success leading full life cycle recruitment efforts, as well as pipeline building and management; demonstrated experience managing requisitions across multiple disciplines.
- Proven ability to proactively work with hiring managers to drive the recruitment process
- Experience using an applicant tracking system (we use Workday) as well as LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social recruiting platforms; experience utilizing job boards, target company cold-calling, and other sourcing mechanisms to identify candidates.
- Knowledge of common human resources practices, employment laws and/or government compliance regulations that affect recruitment.
- Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, Teams
- Ability to type 45 wpm
Work Environment
This is a remote opportunity where occasional travel could be required. Since this is a remote role, must have a dedicated workspace conducive to full videoconferencing (camera and audio) for facilitating webinars and online discussions.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time, standard business hours position located at TPG’s corporate headquarters in Ashburn, Virginia. Some additional night or weekend hours may be required in the lead up to proposal deadlines.
Condition of employment:
- Complete a Drug Test
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- A valid US Driver’s license
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Must be a U.S Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Residency requirement - 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years.
Physical Demands
- Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees.
- Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 10% of the time.
- Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 10% of the time.
- Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type and use a telephone system 100% of the time.
- Sitting: Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time.
