Senior Trust Tax Accountant
A growing organization is seeking a Senior Trust Tax Accountant. This role will sit onsite 3 days a week in Wilmington, DE. They are seeking someone with 3+ years of trust tax experience.
Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare annual tax reporting forms required by various trusts (Form 1041)
- Review & prepare tax forms related to distributions, gifts, estate, and generation skipping taxes
- Review & prepare tax return extensions and estimated tax payments
- Address income tax preparation issues
- Create and maintain relationships with Trust Administrators, Trust Accountants, Legal Counsel and others
- Develop and maintain open communication with clients and other third-party support service providers such as CPAs and Legal Counsel
- Research and prepare tax memorandums
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of tax experience, specifically with trust returns
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
