Job description
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Works under the general direction of the Manager, Windows Administration to ensure the functionality, stability, security, and expandability of the Authority’s Windows client-server environment which commensurate with the Authority’s goals and requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage Windows client-server environment via Microsoft tool sets such as Active Directory tools, DNS, Group Policy Management, and PowerShell modules.
2. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and higher.
3. Extensive Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 and higher.
4. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V solutions.
5. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Terminal Services.
6. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2010 and higher.
7. Extensive knowledge of CommVault v10 and higher.
8. Extensive knowledge of Barracuda Spam and Web Filtering v7 or higher.
9. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft System Center.
10. Create software images, ensuring latest applicable versions, patches, and product sets.
11. Resolve problems referred by user community.
12. Perform software and hardware upgrades on PCs and Servers.
13. Maintain accurate documentation.
14. Interface with other sections of the Integrated Technology Services Department to ensure proper operation of entire Authority computing infrastructure.
15. Independent problem solver and ability to accomplish projects and tasks with little guidance.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR RELATIONSHIPS:
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all employees of the Authority. Represent the Authority in a positive, professional, and confidential manner in all dealings with external agencies, contractors, and all other individuals. Maintain professional demeanor even in high stress emergency and weather situations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and complimentary products.
2. Working knowledge of LANs, WANs, networking principles and protocols.
3. Working knowledge of system security and policy enforcement.
4. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent working experience.
5. MCSA certification preferred.
6. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
7. Must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license.
8. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,250.00 - $113,246.00 per year
