Greenway Waste Solutions was started with the intention of providing the best service in the business. We still hold true to that mission today. We have over 18 years of experience in the pump truck and composting business.
The operations of the business are led by Scott Simmons and the business development is led by Reese Blackwell. Scott has over 18 years of industry experience and knows the business inside and out. He is a Board Member of the North Carolina Septic Tank Association. Scott has lived in North Carolina his whole life and takes pride in making it a more sustainable place. Reese has worked in various industries up and down the East Coast, but nothing gets him as excited as helping restaurant and business owners keep their operations running smoothly. Basic Responsibilities:
- Septic System Inspection and Repairs
- Responsible for inspecting septic systems, primarily type IV systems. (which involves taking off riser lids and checking the system for any issues)
- Record any issues on tablet so customer can be notified
- Interact with customers to communicate inspection results
- Return to fix issues if customer approves repairs
- Clean the work area and equipment.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment, to make sure they meet company guideline
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and applicable laws.
- Typical work schedule is 5 days a week, 8a-5p
- Work conditions are outside in the elements
- Subsurface, Grade 1 or 2 Biological wastewater license a plus but not required
- High School diploma or GED.
- Pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation
