CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Service Advisor

Southwest International Trucks has an opportunity for a Service Advisor in Dallas. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong customer service and management skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problems
• Secure agreement with customer before repair
• Determine warranty eligibility
• Prioritize repairs needed to be completed to the mechanics
• Follow-up on repair with mechanics/ keep customers informed
• Handle telephone inquiries/return phone calls
• Maintain the upkeep of the shop
• Assist the Service Manager as needed

Job Skills: High School diploma or equivalent and 3 or more years minimum experience preferably in the Heavy Duty Truck Industry.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record, CDL a plus
• Sales Skills and ability to make appropriate service recommendations
• Basic engine knowledge
• Good verbal, listening and written communication skills
• Solid computer skills-must be able to enter data accurately and quickly
• Ability to problem solve in an efficient and effective manner
