Job description
My London based client is looking for a Service Desk Analyst analyst to join their busy Desk on an initial 4-month contract.
The successful Service Desk Analyst will be the first line of support when customers encounter problems or defects with any IT kit or systems.
They will answer telephone inquiries, respond to emails and perform in-person support sessions.
They will be responsible for informing customers on progress and advising on workarounds where necessary, as well as the support and maintenance of end user services.
Clear communication combined with technical skills and the ability to help others are needed to be successful in this role.
The role will be based onsite 4 days per week with 1 day per week wfh on a flexible basis.
Skills;
- 1st/2nd Line IT Support Experience
- Responding to users face to face, over the phone & via email
- Strong customer service skills
- Windows 10, Office 365 applications
- MS Office 2013 and above
- Active Directory
- Understanding of, or qualifications in IT service framework (ITIL)
- Very good general desktop support skills - Printers, Laptops, Hardware
- VPN / Remote session troubleshooting
- Mac OSX - Desirable
- Asset management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
