Service Director – Summary

We need a qualified Service Director to help us realize our full potential with 60 plus stalls servicing Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles and Sprinter commercial vehicle as well as ensure both employee and customer satisfaction.

You are expected to recruit, hire, train and manage service team members.

Must be a Hands-on manager to ensure quality control with the ‘Get it done right the first time’ expectations.

Service Director - Essential Duties

• Hiring, training and managing employees
• Get it done right the first time attitude
• Hands on attitude
• Ensuring quality control
• Maintaining relations with the factory
• Build customer relationships ensure a timely delivery of their vehicle
• Coach service advisors on customer handling and gross profit
• Organize and prioritize work flow
• Work with the BDC on appt scheduling
• Stay on top of closing RO's daily
• Work with the warranty dept to maximize all claims
• Other tasks as assigned.

Service Director - Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Proven ability to collaborate with all affected internal teams
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and deal well with conflict
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
