Responsibilities:

• Ability to forecast goals and objectives for the department and enforce procedures to meet them.
• Implement procedures to ensure there are positive working relationships with other departments.
• Prepare monthly operating budgets for labor and operating costs and for the service department.
• Understand and keep abreast of, and comply with, federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, safety regulations, etc.
• Maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
• Establish relationships with vocational and tech schools to enhance personnel recruitment activities.
• Serve as a liaison with Manufacturing Representatives and vendor relationships.
• Handle all customer complaints and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
• Final Inspection on outgoing repairs and Quality check on assemblies.
• Keep abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommend purchases.
• Control the performance of the department using these tools: Daily operating control; Efficiency and productivity control; comeback reports; telephone surveys; and monthly forecasts.
• Maintain reporting systems required by the dealership and the factory.
• Monitor repair order trends, such as number of repair orders completed, number of items per repair order, dollar sales per repair order, dollar sales per service advisor, etc.
• Qualifications:
• 2+ years of Service Manager experience managing a Sales & Service location (Preferred)
• 1+ years of experience working in a Sales & Service location (Preferred)
• Excellent Communication Skills with internal and external customers and departments.
• Experience building strong consistent teams and stable work history
• Valid Driver's License and Legally authorized to work in the United States

PAY WILL VARRY BASED ON EXPIERENCE. Supplemental pay is offered in this position as well.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
