All Weather Architectural Aluminum is a custom window and door manufacturer located in Vacaville, CA, that has been in business since 1969, and we have an immediate opening in our service department. The Service Technician Assistant assists the service technicians in performing a wide variety of duties to ensure that exemplary service is provided to our customers in Southern California. We are seeking individuals that can provide professional service and support to our customers by assisting our service technicians perform warranty and non-warranty service repairs.

**Constant travel required. Will require overnight stays and the ability to be on the road for one week per month.**

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• 1 + years previous manufacturing/construction experience (Window/Door manufacturing preferred)
• Effectively communicate in English (written and verbal)
• Previous customer service or client relations experience

Computer Skills: MS Word & Excel, Outlook, and database software

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Represent the company with professionalism and qualified installation expertise when communicating whether defects are result of faulty manufacturing of product or poor installation.
• Perform adjustments to products onsite by replacing parts and pieces with the knowledge of product lines and fenestration standards that are required.
• Assist with onsite water testing as the representative for the company
• Proficient use of hand tools, to include tape measure, level, saws, drills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be physically capable to climb ladders up to 40 feet and lift and maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds as needed. Full hand dexterity required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions which may include extreme hot/cold temperatures. Fast paced environment involving irregular and long work hours. Constant travel required. Will require overnight stays. Ability to be on the road for one week/month.
