POSITION CONCEPT:
To Provide leadership and direction to assigned employees consistent with Company policies and procedures. To maintain a high level of service and efficiency to customers while maintaining acceptable revenue volume and gross profit levels. Closely monitor all field services delivered by assigned branch for efficient prioritizing of workload and the application of the associated labor and materials.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Constantly monitor workload and assist with prioritizing
  • Recognize opportunities and help educate the customer as to what they may need to maintain and building structure.
  • Ensure all warranty parts procedures are followed expediently by the field technicians.
  • Be 100% familiar with all Customer Required paperwork and procedures and ensure that all Service Technicians are fully trained to provide same to Service Coordinators
  • Provide Technical Support as needed to Field Service Personnel
  • Monitor Technicians for ratios of time to services rendered. Identify oddities and determine if abused, further training required, improperly priced service, etc. and address accordingly.
  • Monitor quality of product (tangible and intangible) by visiting worksites at random both during and after services rendered.
  • Ensure that all division field employees maintain a positive, professional public image. This includes properly groomed and uniformed personnel as well as clean and organized Service Vehicles.
  • Intercede on all Customer complaints and ensure they are quickly resolved in both the Company and the Customer’s best interest.
  • The scheduling of labor is the primary function of the Service Operations Supervisors and Service Coordinators. Excellent communication between the Field Supervisor and this administrative Team is critical. The Field Supervisor must be cognizant of the workload on a daily basis and offer direction and options as necessary.
  • Short weekly service meetings are recommended to keep all field personnel aware of current events with the Company and Customers as well as addressing concerns and service issues.
  • Technical training should be on-going. It is the responsibility of the Division Manager to keep his field employees up to date and proficient at their trade by direct training or providing opportunities for additional training.
  • It is the responsibility of the Field Supervisor to be familiar with all Company policies and procedures and to see that they are followed to their original intent per the current employee handbook and any addendums that may supersede the current policy manual.
  • Fleet Maintenance – Ensure service fleet is properly maintained to maximize fuel mileage and longevity.
  • Hiring and firing of Field Personnel – Vice President approval required.
  • Monitor and minimize overhead costs
  • Minimum of monthly review of income statements to monitor performance to budget
  • Maintain alignment with other offices regarding administrative and service delivery procedures. Consistency throughout the Company is critical.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
REQUIRED:
  • High school diploma
  • 5+ years experience in Service Industry
  • Computer literate
  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficient
  • Timberline proficiency
  • Strong Customer Relations Abilities
  • In-depth technical ability in Mechanical Trade
  • Familiarity with the local marketplace
